Objective

Students will be able to "paint" a picture of fall.

 

Description of lesson

1.   Watch the video, Seasons Under The Sun: Autumn  with the students pausing and questioning as you would a reading lesson using the DRTA (Directed Reading, Thinking Approach).

2.  After the video, assist the students in opening up KidPix or similiar paint program.

3.  Give instructions for the students to paint a picture about fall.

Assessment Strategies

 The students may be assessed by the picture they draw.
