Objective

Students will progress through an interactive PowerPoint at their own pace taking notes on the material.  At the end of the slideshow the students will choose between three tasks.  The tasks will demonstrate their understanding of the notes taken. Students will give an oral presentation on the completed task.

Differentiation:

• Know:  Students will know the sequence of the causes of the Civil War.
• Understand:  Conflicts may cause changes which will affect a society.
• Do:  Take notes on the Civil War using a graphic organizer and complete a project of their choice according to their learning profile.
